You wish find in my Despatch 245 yesterday's date copies of some letters with the Board of Admiralty and Despatches which I have written to H.M's R.R. at the capitals of various maritime Powers on the subject of Piracy.
I have already instructed you may be guided by careful perusal of the Chinese Govt to this matter, and I have nothing at present to add to that instruction. Pour the various Papers which you will receive by this mail on the Rutherford Alcock. K. L. B.
